Volunteer with The Lavender Touch and make a difference to those living with cancer in the Scottish Borders.

You can help in a variety of ways and in whatever way you feel comfortable.

In our shop in Galashiels making sure that it is welcoming, well stocked and with great displays either at the counter of behind the scenes.
In our Tweedbank store receiving and sorting donations so that the shop’s stocks are up to date.

Spread the word. You can encourage fundraising and donations in your community by distributing information on our services and fundraisers’ events.

The Lavender Touch would benefit from skills such as digital help, events, window displays or if you have an interest in books, music or collectable items.

Finally, it is our policy to request a personal reference on your suitability to volunteer with The Lavender Touch. This should be someone who has known you for at least one year. It can be an employer, work colleague, your teacher or lecturer, a member of a profession but not family. Please ensure that you have their permission for us to contact them.
